The Holistic Healing Information I have to share with you comes from my personal experience as ar holistic healing practitioner for 20 years.
I'll begin with basic holistic healing information and then go into depth about incredible new breakthroughs in what is known as energy healing, or vibrational medicine, based
on the premise that the human biofield - the energy field that
surrounds and permeates our bodies - is inextricably connected with
our conscious and subconscious mind, including all of our memories. All
physical, mental and emotional disorders can be perceived as
"dissonance" in our energy fields.
The term "holistic healing" potentially addresses the full spectrum of what supports well-being and ranges from the mainstream to the esoteric.
At its most basic, it means treating the entire person - the internal and external factors affecting them - including mind, body, and energy, or “spirit.” Treatment seeks to address the cause of the condition, not just the symptoms.
MAINSTREAM HOLISTIC HEALING
On the medical level, there is "complementary alternative medicine."
Mayoclinic.org states, ““Complementary medicine has never been more popular. Nearly 30 percent of adults report using complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Doctors are embracing CAM therapies, too, often combining them with mainstream medical therapies — spawning the term "integrative medicine.” https://www.mayoclinic.org/healthy-lifestyle/consumer-health/in-depth/alternative-medicine/art-20045267
Webmd.com offers this example of holistic healing information:
"Holistic medicine practitioners believe that the whole person is made up of interdependent parts and if one part is not working properly, all the other parts will be affected. In this way, if people have imbalances (physical, emotional, or spiritual) in their lives, it can negatively affect their overall health.
A holistic doctor may use all forms of health care, from conventional medication to alternative therapies. For example, when a person suffering from migraine headaches pays a visit to a holistic doctor, instead of walking out solely with medications, the doctor will likely take a look at all the potential factors that may be causing the person's headaches, such as other health problems, diet and sleep habits, stress and personal problems, and preferred spiritual practices. The treatment plan may involve drugs to relieve symptoms, but also lifestyle modifications to help prevent the headaches from recurring." https://www.webmd.com/balance/guide/what-is-holistic-medicine#1

Doctors have good reason to be cautious when it comes to some CAM. Conventional medicine values therapies that have been demonstrated through research and testing to be safe and effective. While scientific evidence exists for some CAM therapies, for many there are key questions that are yet to be answered.
In addition, some CAM practitioners make exaggerated claims about curing diseases, and some ask you to forgo treatment from your conventional doctor. For these reasons, many doctors are cautious about recommending these therapies.
